Tom Wagenbrenner is a seasoned guitarist and vocalist with a rich history of musical achievements. With decades of experience performing on stages around the Bay Area and beyond, he has become a staple in the Bay Area music scene.
Arriving in San Francisco from Vail, Colorado, Tom's musical journey began in the early 90s, when he co-founded the acoustic trio, Farmer's Daughter. With their signature fingerpicking and harmonies, the act quickly became a fan-favorite at intimate venues across the city.
At the same time, Tom co-founded the ultra-popular cover band, The Distractions, which dominated the San Francisco party/event scene for nearly a decade. With a vast repertoire and an energetic live show, The Distractions routinely packed massive social events and top venues such as Bimbo's Club 365 and Great American Music Hall with sold-out crowds.
In the early 2000s Tom played lead guitar and co-produced two albums with alt-country rockers, Buckeye. The band's tours took them across the US and Europe, and they landed a soundtrack deal for the 2002 film, "Tully." Their packed performances at classic venues like The Fillmore and The Viper Room solidified Buckeye's reputation as a must-see act.
More recently, Tom has been focusing on his solo acoustic act, showcasing his versatility and musicality through an eclectic mix of tasteful cover songs.
With his extensive experience and passion for music, Tom Wagenbrenner is a talented musician that continues to captivate audiences everywhere he performs.
