Tom Wagenbrenner, a seasoned guitarist and vocalist, is a veteran of the Bay Area music scene with decades of performance experience. Originally from Colorado, Tom moved to San Francisco and co-founded the ultra-popular cover band The Distractions, which dominated San Francisco’s vibrant social scene for most of the 90's, regularly packing venues like Bimbo's Club 365 and Great American Music Hall. In the 2000s, Tom played lead guitar for alt-country rockers Buckeye, touring the US and Europe and co-produced two albums, from which three songs were selected for the soundtrack for the film "Tully," featuring Julianne Nicholson, Anson Mount, and Glenn Fitzgerald .
Over the last several years, Tom has been performing at country clubs, corporate event, music clubs, wineries, and estate parties all over the Bay Area. Since 2022, Tom has been a featured artist in the Stanford Park Hotel's Menlo Tavern Summer Music Series (Menlo Park).
